#cant reopen Cider 2 after closing it
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hello there, I am also having this issue after having closed cider 2 and opened it again
Only thing I see
Same for me 😦
Same here.
same here. was loving the new changes but now i cant open 😭
Windows 11 22H2, 22621.1413
can confirm this is an issue
I think this is the new minimalistic theme interface. Surely a feature and not a bug
. Also replicating.
upon investigating, it looks like the issue is only with the windows store release
Can you get the early access cider 2 from somewhere other than the windows store?
if u are a donator
Same
Hey people, check out this github post - https://github.com/ciderapp/Sabiiro-BugTracker/issues/120, and let me know if you're running into the same issue
happened to me 4 times after reinstalling 4 times plz fix!!
oh yea this is cider ea, microsoft store release
Same issue for me with the Microsoft Store release on Windows 11 22H2. Tried repairing and reinstalling but I’m not able to use it. Can open the app one time. After that I can only see a grey screen. Would be great to get a fixed release.
Just installed the latest update from Microsoft Store and the issue is fixed. Cider 2 works again. Thanks! 🙂
Yes
Just closed and reopened again. Works ...
btw my issue is slightly different,, a window does not show up AT ALL
this is an issue that has occured before in like 1% of circumstances
have you:
- removed Microsfot Edge
- run any "Windows De-Bloating Scripts"
if so, you're likely in that 1%
ill figure out how to patch it
there's something I can do to prevent that 1%
yeah edge is removed
There’s your issue
This will download an installer from Microsoft that should fix your issue
fixed after the new update omg tysm
dude wtf
ah nvm thats a me problem it thinks its installed but it isnt
yeah, a lot of those uninstallers dont actually remove the installation, they just delete the files without telling windows
webview2 is the reason edge is a pain in the ass to uninstall
because a lot of applications use it
makes sense, I mean, it's a lot better than just having an embedded version of chromium in every app. have an embedded version of chromium as a library.
this makes sense considering my method of uninstallation was using NTLite to erase the damn thing
if I figure out how to reinstall it I'll post here again
