Albums with animated artwork still do not show the animations when in fullscreen on the latest Microsoft Store build (1.5.2). Tried changing the options to Limited, Always, and Disabled. None of those worked. They did work for the album pages but nothing changed in the fullscreen mode. I also tried using the Immersive Fullscreen Test to see if it was locked behind that, but it was not. I'm probably just missing something but not sure. I have tried restarting Cider.
#Animated Artwork still not working in fullscreen

theres a setting to increase artwork quality, i forgot what it’s called , but setting it to extreme should fix the problem
It will not work if you are playing the album from your library, for example if you know an album or song has animated artwork and you play it from the songs tab or recently added, it won’t show it in fullscreen mode
You need to go to the Apple Music version of that album for it to work
This was the issue.
Is this intentional behavior? When I play the music from my playlists, that doesn't count as "Apple Music's version" of the album, so the album artwork isn't animated. I have to go to the album, then select the specific song in order for the artwork to be animated.
Same goes if you exit Cider and start it back up. The artwork is no longer animated in fullscreen.
I don't know if intentional is the word, but all other Apple Music apps do this
on my iPhone, the same thing happens
weird
