#Google Analytics w/ Partytown suddenly stopped working

Hey all. I had Google Analytics hooked up with Partytown and everything was working as expected for months until suddenly this week I noticed no data was coming in. I have not made any changes to my website since implementing Partytown.

In my (basic) troubleshooting, when I load GA without Partytown (removing "text/partytown" from the "type" attribute), data starts to collect again. But without Partytown, my website takes a huge hit on the page speed front.

Has anyone experienced this before or know about a good way to go about fixing it? Thank you.

I have a site with google tag manager and that seems to be working fine still

@rich fractal Strangely enough, Partytown is working for other scripts except for GA or GTM (I tried connecting GA via GTM).

In fact, if I include forward: ["dataLayer.push"], then it breaks GTM even when GTM's type attribute is set to text/javascript and not text/partytown

Any ideas here?

Also, for what it's worth, I've tried a fresh npm re-install of partytown and it didn't help either.

Correct, @qwik.dev/partytown.

And bizarre. I mean, I had a suspicion it could’ve been something from Google’s end, but also begs the question why not more people are experiencing the same issue. I’ll keep digging.

@mighty valley did you ever get this working or find out what the issue was?

I'm also experiencing this with the latest version of partytown. I've spent hours today trying to figure it out but no luck 😆 I have everything setup as per tutorials, no console errors, proxying domains etc. Still no data feeding into GA4 frustratingly.
