Hey everyone ! I'm having some issues installing Spicetify on popOS! the script seems to run fine and install it but when I open spotify, it's just the stock app. I've installed it with the repo as shown in there tutorial page

#

I can't paste my console logs ....

#

Screen cap instead

Are you trying to get marketplace ?

Both. I run the script as mentionned in the installation section of the documentation

#

and it ask me to install the marketplace too

#

I think that's the issue with the path

gray pelican
#

/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin:/snap/bin:/home/adrian/.spicetify

random jasper
#

what

gray pelican
#

that's my $PATH

#

spicetify command work

random jasper
#

no

#

spotify path

#

do which spotify

#

and then check if it's different in your spicetify config

gray pelican
#

spotify_path = /usr/share/spotify/

#

wich is the same pah as which spotify

random jasper
#

hm

#

I already had the issue with the wrong path, the install script was getting an error

#

and now it say ok (screen cap at the start)

#

I've also gave the permission

#

like shown in your documentation

random jasper
#

Config file

#

in case of

rocky hawk
#

Prefs path should direct to prefs folder in Spotify

random jasper
#

should usually be in .config/spotify/

gray pelican
#

There is no prefs path in the spotify folder

random jasper
#

but idk much about debian based

gray pelican
#

find command din't returned anything

rocky hawk
#

Same about me 🥲

random jasper
#

like that

#

prefs should be in there

gray pelican
#

let me check

#

path is different

#

I have to modify and rerun the install script ?

random jasper
#

uh no

#

spicetify is installed

#

just change path in .config/spicetify/config-xpui.ini

gray pelican
#

it's done

#

is there a repatch command ?

random jasper
#

spicetify apply

gray pelican
random jasper
#

right

#

then its not a path issue

#

no idea

gray pelican
#

I'll dig in my side and do a clean install with the proper path at the start

Will search
