It's not a proper solution in the sense that it only works for a specific language but if you keep your Spotify in english it'll do the trick

Go to Marketplace -> Snippets
Click on Add CSS (bottom right)
In Custom CSS paste this

[aria-label='Now Playing View'] {
    display: none;
}

Put any snippet name and description you want
Click Save CSS
The Now Playing button in the playing bar should no longer be here

If you want to get rid of the now playing view disable it from experimental features

Button will be gone and the expand cover feature will be back

the Fullscreen button won't show up unless you have premium, if it does it's a glitch, just use the normal fullappdisplay button on the topbar

I didn't find anyone saying you could just untick something in experimental features
Saved me the headache of trying to figure out why the new sidebar didn't want to go away after rolling back to an older Spotify version. Thank you

SpotX isn't meant to be used together with Spicetify

Instead use the adblocker extension on the marketplace

I wouldn't use spotx at all you are more likely to be banned in my experience

not that it's likely but it can break with spicetify regardless
