Missing "now playing"

After updating Spicetify, the side window with the track is gone (the "now playing" button is pressed on the picture)

Update/reinstall Spotify then run spicetify backup apply

all this was done, I was told that I would have to wait for the next Spicetify update

yes, fix is coming for 1.2.9 but yeah it's not latest

when I was told to update - I did it I am now sitting on 1.2.12.902

Just waiting for a fix (hopefully not for half a year)

did you restore old backup then after updating?

because this fix will not be applicable to you on this version

Yes, I did everything right, I put update and then backup apply

no, could you remove spotify fully (uninstall by control panel and then remove everything from %appdata%\spotify and %localappdata%\spotify) and install it again and do spicetify backup apply?

With SpotX + Nord theme it was

I think SpotX enables it so just do it from Experimental Features that you can find when you click your profile picture

I made a mistake, I should have installed SPotX first and then Spicetify
