So I updated spotify and I want the new compact UI. But with the themes I have installed and the settings I have in my spotify settings, I don't see an option for it. I was wondering if there's a way to get them both?

There's a compact library layout in setting under Library. It hides the playlist n album art in the sidebar.

I don't have that setting. I am on the latest update on spotify
