Running spicetify enable-devtools just restarts spotify without enabling any devtools. I've tried right clicking most places, CTRL + SHIFT + I and F12 without any luck.
Also trying to use the marketplace leaves me with buggy css as if missing stuff.

spicetify doesn't have backwards compatibility it's released for specific versions of Spotify

Use the Aur package "spotify-edge". It's based on the newer version they've only released on Snap.
