Honestly, I think it's really strong. Yeah, the owners aren't in the thumbnail, but I feel like adding another element would make it less effective. I wouldn't change anything, just go with this exact thumbnail. Maybe use a totally different thumbnail with people representing the item owners for the A/B test.

Thanks so much everybody. I ended up trying some text, and AB tested them, and the one with text one slightly. Here's the final version:

i like it, but i don't thinkt the "old" text is necesari, the looks of it alredy give that sensation. with this said, you could do a version where you find a phone with a text on screen saying something like "if found call to [number]", by doing that you will include the "seacrhing for their owners" factor, which this thumbnail lacks of.

I tested a few other versions and this one won. I also changed the title to "Whoever Lost This, I WILL Find You"
