these are two thumbnails I am using for a video I made called "I Played 25 YEARS of NBA 2K In One Video" I've tried these two different thumbnails and different iterations of the title and this video is still really underperforming (my ctr is a lot lower than normal). I would love so feedback on the thumbnail and title and what i can change.
#why is my CTR so low...

I think with the first Tn especially it’s really hard to distinguish between background and what’s in your hands. I genuinely didn’t see you were holding anything
I saw the basketball player first
So potentially/probably when this is even in YT smaller people are even less likely to see what’s going on
What I would say is I really like the concept of the Tn.
The whole old vs new is a good choice
ok awesome
I think it just need fine tuning :))
but should i take out me holding the controllers?
Hmmm not sure
I think it could work effectively but I think just showing the different in graphic quality on left and right would work better
Cos it’s the game that is of MORE importance than the controllers right?
yeah that is true
Or maybe like a happy on the left depressed on the right type of thing?
yeah that's true too
i did have a thumbnail for it too that was the just left and right thing.
what about showing a young you and an old you as part of the left/right split
i think that could more clearly convery the passage of time
ik you're not playing for 25 years but it's a stronger visual cue
This could be a good thing to experiment with - cool idea!!
