Thanks again. Yea I was thinking it might not be the best to have a thumbnail of me just sitting. But on the other hand, I thought it may give the vibe that I have something important to say which would drive clicks.

Yeah but like ok i havent made any research but from my understanding your niche isn't the biggest and i belive that it's better to immediately show them what they want, which is running, and stuff around that. You show similiar shot of you running in the first frame in similiar environment, it's perfect. If you just sit it doesn't rly make sense and they might just not wanna watch its because it's not the main thing it's about, if u understand like hard to explain

I totally do understand, thank you. I think if I had a bigger following, that style of thumbnail could work. (only for current subscribers compared to people who've never watched before). Since they already know what they're getting in the video and they may be attached to my personality that then makes them want to watch to hear what I have to say.

Personally I don't think the text works at the bottom of the image.
Is it a good photo - yes
But I don't think the framing is quite right.
It doesn't feel really balanced with all the empty space on the top left hand corner.

Yea looking at it again, you're right. I probably just needed to go for a different style as I couldn't put the text in the top of the image either as it wouldn't be visible with the light background.

Use drop shadow or stroke, it helps contrasting it
