Hi Zexo!

I really love the neon effect you're going with. But......i feel like you're thumbnail is very.....cluttered. For example, the one on the left is an amazing thumbnail but its calling for attention on 4 things ("3", "mistakes that get you killed", The warning sign and the female character). Four is a bit too many for a viewer to grasp in an instant. It almost feels like an overload of information. Don't you think there could less things calling for attention as, you know, the audience scrolls through the feed faster than how the taxi driver misses us only to stop a few meters away for another person?

So to make it easy, should'nt the thumbnail have the 2 or even 1 thing to focus on?

Again, idk the game and neither am i some expert in thumbnails but don't you think the guy with a neon brain popping out is unnessary in the second one. And the cross that's on the gun......like isn't there some scene in the game where you are aiming that you could use and then in the title write "Win without aim" or something like that? Heck just write it on the thumbnail cos then there would be two things the audience needs to focus on. For the first one, i don't really have any example ideas because this whole niche is way out of my league.

All in all, yes the thumbnails will catch some eyes....but may also have some eyes not even try to give it attention.

Ps. Please note this is all based on my point of view. It could entirely be possible that these thumbnails are great for the videos you're making. So if you found anything that i said make you feel offended, i'm sorry my intention was just to help.

I enjoy it and am thankful for you taking time to help me improve.

I do remember someone telling me 1-3 things on a thumbnail. No More than that.

Would an arrow pointing to something also be another thing?

It kind of is.....and kind of isn't. I feel like you can divide the things into well "groups" by colors. The warm colors and cool colors for example. Wait, I'll share a link to a Web page which I feel like would make it 10x easy for you to understand color theory and what not.

Also don't worry if all the color talk might be becoming too confusing, you'll get the hang off it once you try it again and again

Bro, just upload it on the thumbnail roast. Even if I am inactive I bet there are many others who would give advice (like @hearty plume). Some are way better than me even!

So in conclusion, sure. Just remember I'm no pro, I just know a bit cos I study arts and media as a subject😅

@versed tide I have a friend who is really good at making thumbnails… I could connect y’all if you want. He’s helped me with my thumbnails SOOO much. He is really smart and is very good at his craft. Now I send every one of my thumbnails to him for his input.
