Guess the Hidden Art Student

Before I start dont ask about logistics and getting people. im on top of that so just rate the concept and video structure!

1 Art Student and 4 “Actors” (so 4 students pretending to be art students but arent)

Ive researched in this niche and following off of similar videos how is this structure?

• Round 1: First Impressions (looking at the lineup)
• Round 2: Introductions and Questioning from guessing panel
• Round 3: Drawing Round
• And then obviously lock in final answer

im thinking elimination based rounds so once myself and panel guesses someone out its permanent and that person is not in any further rounds

I’d say the vid idea is SOLID just worry about the execution itself

So ask the UNIQUE, fun questions that make the vid entertaining

Cuz why else do I care about catching the fake artist etc

thanks bro i appreciate your time. Ive tried my hardest to draw on the strengths of other videos and put them into mine. Ive checked out a lot of videos and taken what i believe the best parts are from each.
Execution is always tough and tbf part of the quality comes down to who my casting guy get for the video. If theyre down to have fun the vid will be jokes but if they get nervous/uninterested etc it wont obvs.
equipment wise ive booked out the best stuff my college has to offer. Ive got some members in my prod crew that use the cams ive booked out as part of their actual course so im hoping theyll just know what to so haha and tbf im also relatively experienced using them too.

My strengths are shorter rounds than other vids in the niche to be more “affordable” for the viewer. 15 mins is more manageable for viewer vs 40+mins. Round 1 is based ourely off of looks so im hoping my panel is brutally honest and speak their mind (laugh at apperances, make assumptions etc in a comedic way). Round 2 is questions based so hoping for some funny answers from the non artists haha and round 3 is a drawing round so im thinking of getting the final contestants to draw me lol

ok this is gonna sound so stupid but just bear with me lol

so this door in the vid is actually in my new studio and its on wheels

So then right at the intro I open it and say “these 5 contestants are all claiming to be art students except only one of them is telling the truth. Explain the rules”. Whilst I’m saying this I’m walking towards the camera and then the door get wheeled off set by a couple prod team members 😂

so yeah im hoping this immediately sets the tone that the vid is purely for jokes and will be funny (within the first 10s or so)

And yea exactly it’s crucial u hand select people that MAKE people want to watch

Haha yeah I can’t fault them and my casting guy absolutely smashed it

I’ll be honest some of the footage is quite poor quality but in my defence I didn’t know the cams my college let me take out of storage only filmed up to 25fps 😭😭😭

But it’s a learning curve like defo gonna be taking out lights they have etc

My mate I founded this with 2 years ago now is back in board with the project and he takes media studies at college so he’s gonna be helping out a ton
