#should I buy Photoshop?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i mean if photopea isnt doing everything you need to do and isnt allowing you to make the thumbnails you want to i would say yes.
if its just cos it’ll speed things up but photopea still works for everything you need id be inclined to say no
but for me it would depend how much value i put on that extra time spent in photopea and what i could do with it else (is it significant time saver?)
and also budget lol
its industry standard so doesnt hurt to use it
but ive not used photopea that much (if at all) so idk how similar/different it is to photoshop
Thanks
I would say photopea is 90-95% photoshop
It’s all about creativity and knowing how they work but I don’t think thumbnails are affected because you didn’t buy psd
And on top of that, psd doesn’t always cost money
Tbh when I don’t have time or am out I have used photopea for some thumbnails 😅 to me the difference is about presets and coloring
I would say
Ok thanks. What about premier pro? I use capcut desktop and it's very basic lol
Use Davinci resolve. it's free and many argue it's than Premiere pro.
Yeah haha
Use DaVinci & Photopea 🙂
theres premium features like blackmagic cloud storage but i havent even used all the free features yet to need to even think about upgrading lol
what pc/laptop do you use? Im looking to get one of my own at some point to level up from ipad pro 2nd gen
Just use davinci like the others said, it is very good.
I'm on a windows workstation laptop, been using davinci Resolve for years. I think windows is better, but if you're familiar with ipasOS and okay buying used, I'd recommend finding an M2 macbook. It's a powerful chip, they have really good longevity and stability, and you'll get a good deal on it since it's old. If you go that route, look for at least 16gb memory and 512gb storage and obviously always make sure you're buying from a reputable seller on a reputable platform--I always recommend ebay, but it also depends on where you are
I have a custom gaming pc, nothing insane but it can do the job. 16gb ddr4 ram, 1tb storage, i3 12100f CPU, rx 6600 gpu
yeah i defo wanna prioritise memory. You know what imma make a separate #1062135007629561866 thread about this cos i dont wanna detract from @wooden rain ’s question
Free version is great don’t worry & try it
Yeah it is lol - glad youre enjoying!
its very difficult but im sure ill getused to it
davinci is the best editor tbh
I'll have to try photopea. i've been using a free software that I learned in high school lol
Lol yeah I think it's pretty good
I paid for the pro version of resolve and have used a paid benefit approximately one time in the past year. Use the free version.
What features does the pro version have? From my experiences so far not really any features are behind the paywall
