I think the title would work better if you cut out the "my movie"
"I recreated Famous Movies in Roblox"
i added it to get the search views
will it get suggested with no first views tho?
what do you mean by "search views"? You mean tags?
no like when ppl search for "roblox my movie" or "my movie"
the reason why I said to remove the "my movie" is because it doesnt sound like a real sentence. How about "I recreated famous scenes in my roblox movie"
the "my movie" in your title feels like its in the wrong part of the sentence
its the games title tho
i can do i recreated famous scenes in roblox my movie
but that doesnt change much
"in my roblox movie" sounds cleaner imo
i have nothing to lose rn
I really like your thumbnail tho
so i will change it
thanks for the feedback
but like when i meant give me improvements to make
i meant the video content
The title and thumbnail is the first impression tho. thats crucial to getting people to click and watch
the content is so bad tho that i got like 1 minutes average watch time
i am gonna improve both things tho
the thumbnail gave me an impression of the video being funny, and it caught my attention. so you got that part right
I'd say that you should try to sound like you're excited to recreate the titanic scene. Your voice is very low.
and maybe some upbeat music in the background can help bring a funny, energetic vibe,
yeah i am kinda new to talking in a video
You got it tho
so i am working on that
Dont stop
i am not stoping
this video gave me motivation to really continue
it got like 16K impressions
Dannnnnnggggg
thats 16k ppl that could have watched my content
Wow. whats the ctr%
yeah. did you put anything under tags?
no
Like where did those impressions come from
suggestions
let me see
You can see what the viewers were watching before, and you can try to line it up with what their videos are like
analytics
first go to your content in youtube studio
then click on the analytics button on the video
then you click on reach
there should be a button like this
then go to reach
and you'll see impressions and where they are coming from
Yeah first thing like chill dude mentioned change the title. Ranking in search with SEO is old news. It's good for some types of content especially like tutorials and content thats closely paired with like a information website, but otherwise just focus on appealling to audiences, as most people as possible.
Secondly, the screen ratio doesn't make so good of a first impression. Maybe see if you can make the screen ratio a bit more fit to the screen.
Thirdly, speak up. Don't be quite.
Fourthly, big thing.... you said you want to make more "mature"-ish content. Cool! But if thats what you want to do, show it to the audience... right now it just feels like a generic Roblox video. Not much personality, no story telling, no thought into editing (again editing isn't just like fast cuts and stuff, it's also about the pauses and emphasazing some scenes by making it breathe and also the risers and like the sfx).
Lastly, make it longer than 5 minutes. Imo if you're just starting out with gaming content, 10 to maybe 15 minutes is the sweet spot. More video length will come as you make a story out of the video. 5 minutes doesn't make the audience want to click becuase they see the thumbnail and it's like cool, it's great looking, lots of effort went in. But it's only 5 minutes... so like for them that feels kind of like a joke in some ways.
just give it like a week and check back at analytics
that should be enough
i will improve on all the things you said but on the story telling point
how do i make my video story driven
and for the editing i didnt understand half of what you meant
could you reccomend me a series on video editing to watch so i can learn if possible
I believe I said some in #💬・chat too, if I didn't my bad. The best series on video editing for a more laid back tone and a more mature-esque style, watch Ryan Trahan's penny series, not just the most famous one, but also the older one
do you mean like i watch the series and analyze it or are you meantioning like a tutorial about someone explaining his editing style
prob the first
@austere glacier and also i noticed alot of youtubers and stuff switch between a roll for when they are saying important stuff and b roll like most of the time
how could something like that be done in my case
don't analyze it, or watch someone else explain it... just watch it
don't over complicate things
well if watch it without paying attention its really not gonna do much
i am the type of guy to get hooked into the content so much that i forgot why i came in the first place
It's going to help trust me
Just watch it, take note of some of the editing choices he and his editor decides to do
Don't over-analyze or over-complicate it. There's a thing called analysis paralysis, not something you want to get into.
For B-roll.... I'm not too sure with this type of content, but you can still get a story without b-roll. Just use the harmon circle and after you use it for a few videos here and there, change it a bit to your own liking.
wouldnt the intro be a b-roll
from my understanding b roll is when there is like animation or something and a voice over
No
It's actually more complicated than that... in that case everything would be a b-roll
it's basically like secondary footage
like footage that isn't like the main
