So pretty much the character is just my character I played with and the arrow is pointing to tilted towers which is on the new map. You think I should pick the default Fortnite character instead?

Pick a more popular fortnite skin it will resonate with the audience more.

The "hour 3" is too small, as in font size
(Not sure if the hour 3 seems as impactful, maybe a bigger number will seem more dramatic)
Also the map is too zoomed out, you can def zoom in way more
I dont think you have to use a "popular" fn skin, as long as it is clearly visible from far away with good color balance. Make sure the skin stands out from the green map and blue sky. I'd even suggest a default skin honestly
Also make sure that the skin actually seems like its from the same image as the map. That way it doesn't feel like a simple drop in

Just make the bg brighter so that it's more eye catching and it's fire

Not BAD! The skin stands out really well. If the skin is able to fill in some space on the left , while the map is a bit more zoomed in and put on the right, it'd stand really nice.
like tilted towers is in the center. If it nearly filled the right side I feel like it'd be more clear. Zoom out on your photo editor canvas to see if you can see your complete thumbnail clearly
