I think the video idea in general might be a little hard for people to wrap their heads around. I think it could also get repetitive but it could be cool if you add your own twists to it. In the grand scheme of things, obviously I don't know your final goal but it is to "Niche focused" if you know what I mean. A lot of kids, even 16 year olds might not understand half of the things said in the video. I hope this helps!

People whom you will ask will have a hard time finding an answer. Their answer might be boring or repetitive. You'll struggle with retention.

How about this instead : Ask the first person to change history and write down what the state of the world is at that time. Then explain this to the second person and ask her to say what is going to happen next in this alternate history of the humanity. Repeat this until you've got a great (his)story to tell.
