made 5 different thumbnails on confidence with that title.
was at 5% CTR then dropped to 1.4% CTR
3% - 5% CTR - this is the one with the unknown character : who just smiles or has the car.
I A/B tested with the same video different days but still the same results at 3% or lower.
then I reuploaded it with the new thumbnail which is the results below :
1.4% - 1.7% CTR - this is the one from demon slayer anime, the orange and yellow with the girl.
I'm confused on why it's not a higher CTR?

You need high volume of impressions for CTR to be somewhat constant and run tests. But even with a constant value it doesn't tell you much about the thumbnail.

I usually change the thumbnail after 1K - 3K impressions
Since most of my videos get at least 1K - 3K views in the first few hours

I'm just spitballing but the first one feels this guy EXTRUDES confidence, yea im a badass putting even on a jacket. while the demon slayer one seems like he's more nervous (and maybe slightly cause this character is designed in this way)
maybe if you did someone like Levi or one of the Hashira or just found images that matched the confidence people want to achieve with your video it'd help.

"How to make people respect you"
The idea is a really nice idea I think the issue is your packaging
You could still use that write up at the thumbnail " it so easy"
But I think the video would have more potential if you use a really know high value confident personality as the thumbnail with that write up.
Or better still you could still use this write up in the thumbnail "SPEAK LIKE THIS"
