#Would really love some honest feedback. Title: "The Beginner's Guide To Silent Films"
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
are you teaching how to make silent films?
its a cool idea but idk if many people are really interested in that
though cool thumbnail
i would put it next to some thumbnails from the niche and look if it stands out
compared to those
What type of viewer are you looking to get? not sure what the Start Here is conveying in the image. Is this a How To?
Thanks both @limber fiber and @hazy spade
My channels is about movies and film history, so the viewer is a person who loves cinema and video essays about films.
An alternative title is: "Never Seen a Silent Film? Start Here." - perhaps that conveys the idea more clearly?
The video is basically me arguing that silent films are not boring, and if they seem so - I've made a watchlist for someone who have never seen any
Thanks for your input, its valuable!
Yeah the title is WAYYY better and would appeal to a bigger audience I believe.
Maybe even do something like:
,,Silent Films are GREAT - Here‘s Why‘‘
Make a title out of this
I think that would be cool
That's a great input - I really like the "Here's Why" formula.
Thanks, definitely some food for thought until it's released tomorrow
With that angle you need to change the thumbnail (which was rather unclear). Suggestion :
Interesting idea, thanks!
the thumbnail definitely has some curiosity to it which is the step in the right direction! However the title can be more complimenting to the thumbnail so the idea is more reinforced, hence more clicks!
I appreciate the input. Do you think something ala "Never Seen a Silent Film? Start Here", "Never Seen a Silent Film? The Ultimate Guide" woorks better?
so just like A/B testing works for thumbnails i think that goes for titles too, you the first option oyu have try that first, the audience will tell you they like it with CTR analytics, however if its not what you're looking for through the 24-48 hour span change it to that second option so see what happens
