In today's video we are taking a trip to Thailand and making one of the best rice noodle dishes of all time, Pad See Ew. Better yet, this recipe does not require a wok.

INGREDIENTS (1-2 Servings):

  • 100 grams of XL rice noodles
  • 6oz of chicken breast
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 to 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 carrot

Have you watched any of the videos from this cooking channel https://www.youtube.com/c/WILYEUNG/videos

Yes I love his channel 🙂 He's an inspiration to my content (along with Babish, Kenji, and Ethan)

I'm not a huge cooking channel person, but his videos are so well done.

Totally! I wanted to spend more time on long form because I felt like thats where people actually learn the recipes

The thumbnail made me hungry lol

This looks like it would be satisfying to watch. Like seeing you chop up the stuff is low key asmr. Obviously don't make that the focus, but maybe work on trying to make the videos more satisfying to watch. Faster paced editing might work as well, but I don't see anything wrong with making it at the pace the video was at. Amazing job!

The main thing that sells this video, is the title and thumbnail. The thumbnail has a nice tasty photo of your food at the front (which I want to eat so naturally I'm going to click on it out of instinct) and the title is short enough to get the message across.

I like the intro

One thing I would've added would be simple & clean text for the steps and important names

#

and now I'm really hungry

Nice thumbnail and title. I would add a few visuals to make the video a bit more engaging.
Who is your target audience? Who are you making the videos for?

I think it's well edited for the audience that watches this type of stuff but I agree on a couple text/ visuals

Thanks, Phil (weird not saying Viking) appreciate the feedback. I actually took out the text and steps because videos that included text performed lower and I moved the steps into the description

well if it actually performs better for you then good call I don't have much to say

How do you target this audience in your videos?
Is your current YT audience 25-34 years old?

Yup based on my YouTube analytics 75% is in that demo.

Target that by creating recipes that are less than 30 minutes to make (polled in community section) and through SEO on google
