Yeahhh doesn't make sense looking at them just after you upload it( even though we all still do)
i failed btw
forgot to change draft name for video
and it's published
so was forced to go into studio and change name for normal
as i thought
ez 1 of 10
🫡
Waiting for the thread now 🙏
yeah, will update as planned
~weekday
so funny to refresh page
need to stop -_-
Is that all subscribers or what?
it's addictive as tiktok
Or is it like yt knows who your audience is so
True ☠️
YT never knows. I do 😁
Alright... let's investigate this:
will keep it in gaming terms, to make it easyer for me, but its simple anyway
So... Decision was made -> move from "info focused" to more "entertainment based " content
P.S. This strategy is good if you KNOW your audience. So little bit more advanced than one in the begining of this thread
to make it best, i checked my "TOP 28 days" and TOP 48 Hours videos in analytics
and basically TAGGED (in mind) my top videos that is still working good
its SORCERER(sorc) build
Paladin (pal) build
and also one outlier
"secrets everyone missed"
so i decided that i need to make video with "BUILD, SORC/PAL, WEAPONS" in mind
but most important i want to improve my editing and scriptwriting... skills is a win in a long run
so i threw some stuff on paper (.txt doc, not real paper ofc)
and made this:
interesting how it will perform, dropped this in roast section, basically trying new editing and scriptwriting style
EDITING:
(so that part is easy, when you got analytics base with loads of videos)
I opened all my TOP 48hr and TOP 28 days videos and BEST Retention videos
And just tried to find out retention curve trends.
made formula -> 1 - 2 - 1
1 minute of ~adventure - medium~fast pacing with positive vibes .
2 minutes of build up - slowing down pace to build tension for next part - medium-slow pacing with sad/tension vibes.
1 minute of ~EPIC/ACTION~
and idea is to separate video in bits of 4 minute parts
so it's not Mr.Beast "10 minutes of tik-tok" style
but idea same, i just pack 4 minute videos into 1
my format is ~20 min
and initially i was going to use dan harmons circle of storytelling
but after few videos, decided to shrink it down into 5 act formula
in YT it should look like this though :
resolution without dropping too low ;)
that where my scriptwriting journey comes into play:
i use B.E.N formula, or BENS that was shared by Ed on his stream (original is BEN from book)
BIG EASY NEW. (S is for SAFE, and nice for educational channels)
basically - title + thumbnail + hook should be under this "tags"
and then i just separate video into bits, of 1-2-1 in each act of 5 act structure
and here we are, 20 min video
20 min is also based on best performing videos
... THEN VIDEOS COME ...
i did some investigation -> and found that there is NEW glitch found in the game, that is around Flame Sword
i know some interesting interactions with flame BIG
and in hook i can confirm, it's EASY and FAST to do and have fun yourself
so i picked one of my SORC outliers with "69 points" part on thumbnail that got really nice viewership
added big claim (left part, its impossible to make 100% in this game, but actually i found a way how)
and made this thumbnail in some "movie poster" style
bright~1 colour
got this ->
so structure works...
retention is better than AVG
watchtime too.
so i decided to make same idea, picked another part of thumbnail from outlier
it's sword that is edited a lil bit
and made another "PAL/SORC SWORD BUILD"
but now with another sword, that people not talking about.
so it's EXTRA NEW, BIG
easy 30k in 12 hours
which is good for channel + niche
also engagement tip: make mistakes on purpose
there is fact, that got kinda no effect on information provided "in game there is no enemies above 600 health"
i threw it down at the right time
but in reality there is 3 of them
so make audience feel smart (because they are)
there is 30 out of 60 comments, telling me that there is enemies above 600 :)
next plan for this channel : preproduce 24 videos 2/week that will last until july. almost done btw, will finish at weekend
and then i will move to different niches for few month :)
👌🏿 😉
as always ^^^ everything above is my thoughts ^^^^ So opened to discussion and tips!
don't treat is as "guide" but you definetly can
I always do but in subtitles even change words sometimes (in the middle of the vid once or twice)
But I often hide stuff in the back like funny stuff or even my sister does a weird face
I did that in the last 10 vids, never got 1 comment on those in 6,000 views 😦
I've also hid a mystery box in my background in every videos this year, one day people will notice and it's for a special even so once a lot of people spam about what's inside I'm gonna reveal it. It might take years cuz this as well, never got 1 comment about the mystery box in the background
Solid thread update Agent! don't think I've got tips on this for now
Thanks!
Ok.. Ideation + Script + Nice edit is just insane push
i still like my insane grind days, gives alot of experience and initial push for the channel
but now.. i'm struggling to make 1 of 10
because AVD / CTR / VIEWS is just good everytime and i'm starting to gain traction back :)
will see where it ends in few month
notes:
List videos doing insanely good in retention.
Giving away ansewers tanks it instantly
UPDATE on one of the new channels:
1 video posted
it strugled for 1 month, and flatlined
i put it into private, and reupload same video today, so will see , can we try to reupload videos that we think should perform better than we got
if it stays same for 1 month, i will reupload it again in july :) but will first off all make 2-4 shorts from it, and try to push it with help of shorts
when there is gap in market
ok. will leave for 1 month in august without PC. So since i'm making loads of content in advance now, and organising all production systems. Here's last update :)
System i described here works perfectly.
By using this:
Monetized ~9 channels total last year.
Used it to pivot after intereset to initial(main) topic dry off -> ~10+ times... Success rate ~80%...20% fails was due to time / other factors, so technically thats ~99% system,.
Im droping most channels.
Sticking to 2, because i get better RPM there, and since i'm from country with banned paypal i wasn't able to take sponsorship deals (all of them use paypal ) , and keep it sustainable.
Will run experiments on others, since i like data.
So on main channel, i'm back to 1M+ after recent pivot.
Technically never changed anything :D so feel free to use and monetize ASAP.
some recent outliers
Any new lessons learned? -> Probably 1... Stick to FORMAT. So i got alot of traction with my main format of ~20-40min longs. And while ~8-12 min videos doing fine, there is no outliers in them
and also it looks like completely different audience atracts to all of them
Also it's exactly 1 year since i started channels :D so i'm preety proud to do it full time now, with alot of pressure off shoulders...
Keep the grind and you'll make it! 💪🏿💪🏿
it is a bit late to note this but "mistakes" in the video have to be major enough to point them out easily
and it has to be a mistake and not a funny bit since i also do the same with placing funny stuff in the background but nobody points it out
since its not a mistake and does not need any comment on it
however when i made a mistake (not on purpose) with counting how many games i overviewed in my videos people pointed that out almost instantly
saying i got one more game than intended
which i suppose was a pleasant surprise for them
mistakes have to be in good faith so that the audience feels smart and also happy to point them out
making obvious factual mistakes like blatantly lying to viewers is not gonna cut it
(just incase someone interprets "make mistakes on purpose" as just being bad on purpose is good)
🤔 Since there is alot of readers here 🤔
Should i start new one with another experiment , or continue here?
CONTEXT: Making content in advance, instead of my basic "pivot" strategy ( since i don't need it, because channels in "maintain" state now) . And since vidiq dropped this outlier seeker (for me it's basically free, since i have pro) , i want to explore outliers, and will produce ~8-16 videos based of outliers ONLY
so can post results + ideation here or make a new thread, vote xD
P.S. YT is smart , reposted same video -> it not giving ALOT more impressions, but getting some
got idea how to push it too, but don't have time atm, since it's ~for fun project
thats parameters i used. also adding, since i played with tool for ~2 hours already
it's ~not worth right now
i guess 1of10 still king, probably viewstats from mr.beast
Ok, will keep it here... SO... made list for myself with some outlier ideas
will repurpose and produce ~12 vids for next month
and will show graphs here in september, how it goes
for me -> it's either i'm getting x1.5 avg views, or i don't trust tools more than myself for next year :)
if views stay ~same, i will try viewstats from MrBeast or 1of10 in september
great thread so much useful information
the best thread in this server rn
Don't forget :) There is ALOT of strategies, and better content is always - key to success.. Here is some stats i share for fun and definetly can be used as educational stuff . Just don't treat this as "rules"
On my tests with VidIQ Outlier tool... now -> definetly not worth it.
will play with MrBeast's viewstats in september, and post here about impressions
Mario did nice review though
thanks for the info!
i was actually looking into using mrbeast's tool, seems interesting
might check that out
Yeah, it looks amazing, more features than 1of10, for same price if you not using promocodes
with promos, i guess 1of10 is cheaper, but agains, there fun features in viewstats
Oo
i was "anti title change" actually.. bet played last week with it, and it definetly works
need to work on better titles now :)
Thank you so much for all your statistics & knowledge sharing @strong flower, I've been reading all the thread since the first message until the last now (around 3h lol), and I feel hyped to upload content again, or at least be ready for when I go back to it, I hope you still updating us on your journey! ❤️ 🤗
Still wow seeing all this information
Leaving tommorow, so thats some data i got right now :
adding more ideation, added more stable CTR , and more browse... And while i will recheck how other videos will work in august, but i guess i will just stick to my strategy until January anyway
Strategy is basically described here in thread, from begining, and i just mixed it up a bit.
Mostly changing title ideation, that comes from outliers from different niches.
So... Feel free to use :) works like magic every time + easy to impliment
🔥
🙂
Since im still at PC, i was bored and digged into some data
nice finding
because alot of you probably got question "should i change title into searchbased"
So initially title was not clear searchbased, and got some views but anyway, video flatlined after ~12-14 days
but then as you can see it took off at day 21
it's hard to see in scale, but it's definetly going up
also it's clear evidence, that i got ctr from 2% to 22% on day 21
i mean after
because i switched title to searchbased
does it mean "I NEED TO TARGET BROWSE FIRST AND THEN SWITCH"
NO!. My strategy is still same, and it's just "make good stuff people need, and browse will come"
so video is taking off now...but it was still search based initially, just title was not clear enough
you can see it on sources, i always had search on this video, but now it kinda picks up on browse a bit more while search dries out (dont forget it's in %, so probably based correlation between them)
🫡
Also... If you already opening YT to change all your titles...Is this "RULE" -> NO!
no title change here..
...
And here is title changed around ~25 days
and here is no changes ;)
so... main idea is same as always... don't try to find "magic pill"... Find what people need / want to see, and make good videos around
All fluffy stuff like thumbnail/title changes , while can look good in some examples, maybe just a coincidence and nothing more.
Will pull up Jon's channel to fully display my ideation
There were 4 titles in this video
but since Dan is not well known outside of industry
even Casey and MrBeast wont give more views to this video
same as editing video. Since main focus of channel is interviews with youtubers, it just too niche
Trending big names + main channel focus = ???
Easy millions :)
Ok. See you guys in september
🫡
👋
Ofcourse Jon's a YouTuber and he has a business, so he obviously focuses on views as well. But at the same time I think some of the more "niche" videos he makes is more for helping/contributing to other creators rather than wanting to get like millions of views. At least thats what I think lol.
Yeah. I never stated opposite :) And thats definitely what got me in here
Yeah, good point
Why sept ?
im traveling
have fun bro you deserve the break 🫡
This was Real Fun to Read Through!
Enojy Mr T 👀
Any other Threads like these lol?
Months of work
Im learning so much going back thru this thread. Thank you @strong flower this is crazy good… months later 🤣
hahah
month of complete chill actually :D
fresh mind, back to business
Yay
🫡
I saw you made this joke in the thread, and was interested in you mentioning this was your only stream of income
without being specific, were you able to pull a comfortable amount of revenue from a video style like this?
maybe less consistent and reliable for sure but
this is an insane stat to be like "healthin it up"
I don't even know how i'd survive working that much
the original amount, not 2-3 a week
it depends on watch time mostly
im making preety long stuff, and therefore people watch more
peak RPM is like ~7$-10$ for gaming
so it's definetly less than other niches
but i got some vids pulling ~1-2k, so preety healthy since cost of living for me and wife right now is insanely low ;)
that's the way to do it if you're on youtube right haha
also pretty healthy when you're making 10 videos a day
yeah :)
im shrinking quantity right now anyway
want to test out some things and work on ideation
then if i feel right, will pump up volume
i think its good to just "be comfortable" to work
if needed
my fav quote "don't wait for perfect moment... be ready for it"
so in case i need to pump 20vids/day i can xD
but no need right now
yeah man 10 a day is insane
and also i just came back from vacation, and it was just a breeze doing 1/day right now
like its nothing
it's easy to shrink back volume
hard to go over comfort zone
insane work ethic man thats just wild
Some fun stats, as always
- ideation... i got some scaling ideas.. but thats mostly in my head, and require testing that will take probably 6 month from now :)
anyway...
Did research in niche, of my "main" channel right now..
and compared basically everything.. how often people post, production quality, estimated $RPM, $ per video, and so on..
made comparsion table of me and all competition
and figured out best performing : video length, posting frequency, production quality
so now will just stick to format no matter what, and see how it goes
BUT... here is the topic of today -> time to post?
YT Tells, it doesn't matter (and yeah, it probably does not in a long term...)
but in short term, it gives more traction, and there is definetly correlation... that i see acros multiple channels... if something getting good views early, it will continue and live longer
so...
based on this graph best time to post is around ~7PM in my local time
guess what... thats the time i post videos
and we definetly can see rise in views at this time of day
but actual difference is around ~20%
so does it mean i will lose bunch of views, if i start to post at 6AM (my worst time)
99% of people will tell -> YES
but as data freak.. i like to dig deeper...
and if we check geography
~45% of my views is from another time zone
idea is simple... i will start to post videos at the worst time right now
which will be the best time for U.S. viewers :) and see what happens
will it ruin viewership, or create even more U.S. , Canada, Brasil views
will post update when i find out... if you interested ping me here or in chat sometime in next month or so ;)
i mean, if i'll forget about this stuff, since im running million videos per day atm
🫡
Not posting market analysis here, since there is no point in data if there is no GOAL. So my analysis works for me, to give me strategy for MAX $ per Hour of work.
And as always, what's your opinion on "time to post"?
for me time of post matters maybe cuz Idk why but idk short form content it matters maybe
what timezone are you?
GMT+4
Exactly 12 hours from PT :)
which is perfect motivator to start some livestreams early in the morning
this may be a stupid question, do you think this channel scaling strategy would work to climb back up the niche steps slowly and then go back down into a new one to grow a new viewer base with boost from your existing viewers
I say it may be stupid because I thought I remembered seeing that but rereading it now i'm not seeing it
nevermind I see that now lol
yeah, thats insanely basic stuff im doing
worked like... 9/10 times in any circumstances
from switching niches to brand new channel and reanimating old ones
I kinda forgot about this thread but wow still going haha
@strong flower
Re reading this in nov 😭🙏 l o l😭
Hope everything is still doing well, I’d love ur personal insight behind MY recent pivot into “acting reviews”, I loved ur total addressable market breakdown. My channel is @koshoreviews
You posting 3x a week is so crazy to me hahah
yeah, tested. won't work :) so basically, from my observation, best time to post, is just what you feel is better suits your audience. but time of post definetly not affects overall audience profile
OK... Time to update :D
Basically... everything still works great... one of the channels i didn't liked was inactive for ~6 month
i decided to jump on one new game, and got dilemma... do i need to create new channel (like i did everytime before) or just post on same
so -> i privated all videos, waited one day. and dropped 3 longs + 3 shorts at the same time...
24 hours -> channel started to get tracking
48 hours -> "ok" viewrship
to ansewer "1.5k views is just insanely low"...
Yes, but... it's just first 2 videos, and it kinda proves, if there is viewership, doesn't matter what you post, you'll get traction
also it's mostly from 1 video, others just starting to get traction
and this channel is going to be preemptive bet... so right now there is some viewership of this topic, but i bet it will be 100-1000x in ~6 month
so im building base, to explode later
oh yeah... im turning off "notify subscribers" for all my videos ofc
My plans for next few month :
I basically mostly tried to focus on myself last ~4-6 month, and relaxed, organised time and fixed sleep/work ... so im feeling great and decided to put tons of work on 3 channels exclusively, without spreading more
basically, right now im running experiment with (numbers is channels):
1 - 3 videos / week . one search, one browse, one that worked.
2 - daily videos - 6 low effort, one nice edited with good voicover.
3 - video every other day , 15/month. Mostly low-mid effort.
Will run like this for 2 month and see what will happen
feels like :
1 - need some boost.. there is no "interest" in topic right now and i hope it will change in upcoming month
2 - feels like it gets nice amount of traction and audience
3 - same as 2.
plans to :
1 - if interest won't grow in upcoming month, i will completely switch strategy in january, and will do a lil bit different topic, but with high quality weekly videos
2 - if it won't grow, same as 1.
3 - will continue untill game release, and if it won't get viewership, probably another PIVOT :)
so as always, testing needs time, will post here when get any news...
GRIND 🫡
for goals -> i want AVG of 3M views/ month across all channels
right now sitting around 800k
peaked at 4M, but for few month, and i want AVG :)
Hi there, question, can an uploaded video be optimized to increase its chances of success or you it’s necessary a new upload?
While there is alot of takes, that say "here i changed title/thumbnail and video succeeded"
i would say... it depends alot
if already uploaded video got at least any traction, you probably can do it... but overall, it won't matter alot in 99% cases
Thanks for the kindness in replying brother.
yeah, no problem
i tested, and video will be "searchable" in 24 hours after title change
so in case of for example video "I MADE INSANE PHOTO WITH THAT CAMERA" that was designed to capture browse page
you can rename it into " Best Camera for NEWBIES in 2025" if context alows for it, and it will be searchable at least
Got it!
Yo man genuine question - how IMPACTFUL has the “notify subs button off for u” been?
Gonna start doing it next vid, my older audience rlly stuck w me for “the flash” show, and I genuinly see in the analytics that RETURNING audience has like a 0:30 avg view duration in my NEWER “acting” related rankings/reviews
it's hard to actually get 100% affirmation of results. But i just started to uncheck it on every video on every channel.. On my main with ~600-700k views/month and preety much stable audience, views never go lower than expected , so active users will always see content
for semi-active channel.. (tested across ~8 channels, i got like 20+ channels, but work on most profitable, and use others for fun tests)
every video with unpressed button, will get views and organic boosts (probably to find audience) while if i leave it checked, videos flop with 0.1% ctr
so in my tests... -> this button is too good to be checked :D
exception -> your upload schedule is 1 video / 3 month
like 4 videos year lets say...
in that case i would check it, since technically you making videos for same audience
and there is not alot of "active" viewers
Thanks man good to know, do u feel that it has lower INITIAL impressions? Most people on reddit etc say that’s the general consensus when posting w it off
yeah, but who cares about "initial" impressions, when you get 100k views instead of 1-10k, and loads of new active viewers
Interesting, to pry on this more when would you CONSIDER turning them on? When u have a dedicated fanbase LARGE enough that makes it worth it? Just worried if I keep it off - my core audience won’t come across the vids if I stray off to another show etc
UPDATE TIME :)
so strategy doing great. i scaled channel where i can say that no matter what i'll do, i got audience to support it and then expand in any direction
there were different formats i experimented with and it's time to scale not just channel
but brand + empire xD
so plan is still rely on everything in this thread, anyone who's interested can check out from begining
alot of usefull read
what's my plan now ->
i ran ~3-9 channels at the time, mostly to practice and filter stuff that don't work for me...
i identified 100% working content formats on main channel and will make it my main brand
now its time to show up my presense... everywhere :)
by keeping niche, i expand different formats to different channels
and will try to make them funnels to bump each other
will update here in ~3-5 month when i'll get some stats
if i'll not forget :)
but plan of funnel looks like this
Channel 1 -> main, that occasionally sends some traffic to 3-d channel.
Channel 2 -> fun, low effort evergreen stuff that always gets views, to send traffic to channel 1 or 3 depending on video... i could post it on main, but decided to keep it separate to not overwhelm audience on #1 with different type of content.
Channel 3 -> high quality, longer to produce stuff... i keep it on 3 so it is not missed among loads of other lower quality videos on #1 and #2, but this type most of the time need longer time to build auidence around..
So thats the strat.
KEEP GRINDING!
Hi! So I read the whole thing. So much useful info here 😉 I wanted to ask because you didn't do a follow up, what are your thoughts on Viewstast or similar tools right now?
its like 50/50 i would say
very niche dependant
im getting better results with custom GPT i setup for exactly my channel
wrote bunch of paragraphs of rules and my prefered titles etc.
it just slams me with best strats :D
so AI is future (still i h ate ai)
Do you mean you make custom requests for chatGPT based on rules you wrote down?
yeah kinda
when you sub for gpt+
its an option to create "customgpt"
so i uploaded like tons of my .txt files with ideation, tactics and so on
tone i want, 2000 favourite titles
etc.
and he is tuned after few days, basically, im just using his outputs for 90%
before, its just like a brainstormer, but useless stuff
Huh, that's interesting, I never used the paid one
Probably still cheaper than viewstats tho
I also have a question for you if u have time. Because the strat you are talking about feels good for starting a channel or pivoting as you use it. But I'm wondering if u have any thought about building more of a community. Like do you think it's worth putting effort into the coming back viewers or is it not worth it at this point of YouTube. I'm asking because more and more people are saying that subs don't matter and all of that. But on the other hand I feel like connection to your audience feels kind of important? But what makes connection might not be the best seller so here's the thing to balance and think about
subs dont matter, since that not how YT works right now
there is "subs" but they in other analytics tab right now
basically this
yt recomends your new vids to viewers who recently watched
so it's kinda subs
but people can be not subbed
i got 140k returning viewers
but 6% subbed
Hmm, so it looks like you have a lot of returning viewers anyway
yeah
ok, update time xD
stuff above failed
not because plan was bad
just was forced to recreate adsense, since google just deleted my previous one, and its takes forever with bunch of bugs in system atm. ANYWAY...
Since i left with monetisation only on one of my 5 channels atm, and wen't all in there.
Works exactly as it should -> PERFECTLY
now i hit the wall, where i need to help algorythm, so im going to redo plan i described, but funnel will just go between 2 channels atm.
Basically i will split content type -> Search based and Browse based, and put them on separate channels.
there should be a twist? -> yes there is one :) I will do it not from scratch, but on already ~ok channel, that got around ~3M views , stays at around 200k monthly, passively.. i just PRIVATED all videos, and will start to drop everything with "dont notify subscribers"
completely different niche
so it would be fun
if i forget (i probably will, since im grinding 24/7) just ping me in a month or so
i will explain how it went
and maybe will drop full funnel channel start guide :)
just quick update. strat works as always
this is point where i nuked all videos, and it was hour with ~0 views. I posted new videos next hour.
ALGORITHM - 5 hours initial testing -> went good -> ~5 more hours -> bigger testing in browse and broader search -> went good -> now it's constantly ramming some views... today will continue feeding algo, and i guess we're fine
ok it's crushing on day 2... so you dont need to wait month for guide.. strat just works
PURPOSE of Channel 1 and 2 (C1,C2)..
C1 -> GOOD IDEAS, Browse / Suggested focus
C2 -> SEO DUMP, everlasting evergreen tail
I basically can make those contents, while recording one same video, need just extra ~15 min voicover for C2.. So it's naturally fiting into same work process...
PROBLEM -> If all dumped on one channel (what was the case for C1), and if there is alot of information hype spikes (loads of game releases in my case) , it kinda makes all GOOD ideas, sink in evergreen seo search based garbage
so i decided to not post SEO stuff first, which was good idea... and im back to ~2.5M monthly
but i know seo dump can give ~1-2M monthly too
so why let them fight on one battlefield, if they can share
I Prepared 5 videos -> dropped them 1hour after 1 hour on same day
on C2...
while on C1. i made good idea video, which ends with "unfinished state" and it leads via endscreen on C2
- 2 community posts
- i added all videos from C2, into playlist in C1, and made them clickable through video link (basically you get link for video that is viewed from playlist now, and you get link for video but it will be opened in playlist, so whenever someone clicks it, he goes into suggested wall of my videos)
i will do 2 more funnel videos, and thats it for now
results
C1 siting tight on ~100k dayli views
C2... 20k dayli from day 1
i guess it will scale into ~30-50k range in a week after more videos, and will be my evergreen tail
.....AGENT OUT......
p.s. for someone who reading and "oh i dont have 3M monthly views to dump into C2"... -> Yes, and you don't need C2..yet... scroll to begining, make 1M+ monthly channel, and when you feel that it's too tight -> thats strat for you
p.p.s. thats just diary and not something "GO DO IT NOW" and i don't pretend like im "YT PRO" or smth like this.. just showing my story/progress
❤️
@bold saddle
up xD
@tacit hatch i ping you here
just bunch of random stuff from me, i recomend scrolling into begining :)
when you get some time
As update.
I was away for a ~month, since i decided it's good time to have a litle vacation in Middle East
and that thing started right when i was in plane
so i stuck a bit )))
i decided that it's good time to test waters on main channels, and made good videos, but they flopped completely. so trying to figure out why atm
topics are proven to drive views... but im geting super low impressions
while watchtime + avd is preety good, it doesn't matter with low views still.. also tested NOTIFY ON and NOTIFY OFF on new uploads, as referenced in begining of this thread
right now it feels like they not relevant
so year before it was clearly that "notify off" having better push in algo, right now it's definetly not.
but on second channel, i tried and if topic is completely off , than it gets nice traction instead
If ill figure out , will drop some updates :)
Hey, thanks for bringing me here! It was a great read, learned a lot about this really interesting strategy. I really respect your hustle and work ethic.
The fact that you just took a look at what worked and what didn't from the past to inform your future decisions in such a concise way is extremely impressive. I find analytics confusing and sometimes misleading but you've made them work for you.
Not going to lie, after reading this it is very tempting to create a new channel to just focus on creating something large as a financial basis to be able to do whatever I wanted on my current channel, with way less restrictions and less care about performance. But, at the same time, it's a lot of work and I'm not sure I have such.
I will still take some important lessons from this, I really appreciate that you led me here. I wish you good luck on your future endeavors!

Thank you!
Dang I forgot about this thread
It's a treasure, for sure!!!! I wish we could pin it so it never gets lost. Haha
I thought you can pin topic posts
The trick is to ping yourself and leave your self-ping as unread haha
@subtle phoenix
Now the thread never disappears! Ever!
Well, I'm used to being able to search it. I remembered this epic experiment Agent so kindly took us on a while back, cso I searched it up. It would surface, but was unclickable to go into it. So, I DM'ed Agent & he was able to resurrect it for us. It's such a treasure.
So i should always use notify off when swtiching niches and when to put it again on?
I can't guarantee it, but thats what im doing right now. Seeing exactly 0 benefit from turning this function even on active channel with big audience
so i would say test and turn it on when you'll feel right
i try to triger it when i think "Oh..i really want everyone who subbed to see this video"...
but in most cases i like to "Oh..i want as many people as possible to see this video".. and leave it turned off
Its normal to get like very small views right ?
and when to decide to leave it like after 10-20 vids i would say ?
Like 5-10 views
yeah, it depends ofc
topic / format etc
