#Roast my art video!

always love seeing the painting progress.. I think it is a bit long though. The viewers get the idea that adding white lines adds hair so you don't need to show it for 30 seconds. Put in some clips of drawing long lines and some close ups of adding the short lines. That should be enough. After that you revealed the final piece twice, was that on purpose? Also theres no sound but I guess the final video will have some kind of music or voice over
I rewatched it a couple times and I think you could just remove seconds 40-50, they don't really add anything to the whole thing
your art looks nice though :)
Yess what you said is true! I usually have avg. Retention rate of around 0.30 seconds for shorts. Actually there is a song for this video, it is already up on YouTube. You can check it out if you want 🙂 I have other short and long form videos...all this is very new stuff for me and videos are rough but I put out anyway cause I want to test and improve.
I will definitely implement your ideas in next video. Thing is I decided to use shorts as way for me to improve on my tech skills and just have fun. I haven't yet started making my real paintings which i wanna do in long form videos, but I am holding it for two reasons 1. I really want to make proper videos after improving my skills 2. I'm still thinking of ways to maintain viewers retention in long form art videos😅 since everyone these seem to have attention span of sparrow!
I'm glad you liked my art 🙂
Hope you guys enjoy it!
