YouTube Audio Library
thank you
If you are looking for more I recommend artlist.io
It depends on what you're looking for.
YouTube's audio library has a wide variety. Storyblocks does as well (in addition to stock footage). I use Soundridemusic, Infraction - No Copyright Music, and similar for my niche, but for you that depends on your content.
I use youtube library now
Unless you're paying a subscription fee, YouTube library is the safest. We have old videos that use music that we acquired from AudioJungle, however, despite paying a one-time fee, those videos are now receiving copyright claims years later.
I use music quite alot in my videos and the YouTube audio library is the only free place I have found that am happy with. There is some great stuff on there but you have to spend time going through it to find what you are searching for. Doesnt help that I dont know what I want until I hear it, but thats me.😀
Agreed. You gotta spend some time digging, but there is good stuff on there.
Interesting i will keep that in mind
I have started and would recommend downloading all the audio files so that when editing you can listen and throw it in where ever. so i have a file on my mac called youtube Audio and then i just load it into my project when editing add use as needed.
Same 👍 If I find anything I like and think could work for a future project, I download it into my desktop library.
what do you think the best way to categorize the audio tracks? Is it mood, genre, duration?
I usually categorize by mood.
Genre doesn't matter to me if it fits the scene appropriately. Likewise, duration can be manipulated to suit the need of the content.
that makes a lot of sense i never thought of it that way
I just download the ones I like and think I will use in the future. The search and genra filters work well for me so can see no purpose in downloading everything unless you were going to to build a database and tag everything, which would be a huge undertaking. Finding an artist I like and looking at there other stuff has been a good plan but lots of ways to go about it.
