#Should I use Chat GPT for my blog or my clients?

this is what I believe:

The success of content is determined by the value it offers to the audience, not the method used to create it

For instance, if you were to write a blog on your own but it fails to engage readers and does not offer any real value, you won’t gain anything from it.

If you use AI to create content that not only catches the attention of your readers but also provides them with practical solutions to their problems, it would be considered valuable and likely perform well in search results.

But I'm seeing these AI detectors which are pretty good at detecting content generated using Chat GPT. Even if I manually curated it to make sound more human-like, it's still detecting that my content was created by AI.

What should I do?

Use AI for a starting point. Not to create everything. My best advice I can give 😄

Great question but I’m curious what are these AI detectors and where are you seeing them?

I’ve only heard of them in the situation of classrooms and teachers now trying to detect students using AI to generate book reports for example but I haven’t seen an example of blog detectors.

I would say I actually think it’s more impressive today if you figure out a way to use ChatGPT to generate a highly engaging results because of what I’ve seen from a lot of the prompts is that the results are quick but it’s not always engaging in the way that a human would write it (or in the way that a human could edit an initial draft from AI)

GPT is great for writers block, a jumping off point, or a different perspective you maybe haven't thought of. However, GPT 3.5 isn't quite there yet in regards to writing high quality copy, and there are now a few GPT detection engines out there that a client could run your copy through and see that it was generated by a GAI. So I definitely suggest it for getting started, but then edit it to make it fit the client.

Use ChatGPT to get ideas brewing and then put into your own words. Dont copy and paste word for word.

Helps me a ton with "writer's block"

By your clients, what exactly do you mean?

#

As I think ChatGPT is a good tool to use to get help

#

I don't think you should generate stuff and sell it to people

(copy pasting AI work to clients)

If this is what you meant by your title

guys thanks a lot for your responses. I use this for generating ideas obviously. However, I may also copy/paste some sections which are absolutely on point. For instance I asked what is a stakeholder inteview and it gave me this:

"A stakeholder interview is a method of gathering information from individuals or groups who have an interest or investment in a particular project, product, or organization. These interviews are typically conducted by a project manager, researcher, or other representative of the organization and are used to gather insights and feedback on a wide range of topics, such as user needs, business objectives, and potential risks or challenges. The information gathered in stakeholder interviews is used to inform decision-making, improve project outcomes, and ensure that the needs and interests of stakeholders are taken into account."

Which seems correct to me. My question now is, can I use this paragraph within my content as it is?

I however am not saying that the entire content would be like this. But there certainly are some sections which can be copied/pasted.

What's your take.

Just make sure you're not selling straight AI generated stuff & especially if it is noticeable or can get detected

Will keep that in mind @fiery gyro .

We all new this was coming, but today it's official. OpenAI released v1 of their AI detector. So even if you're using small copypasta pieces, someone will be able to tell it was AI generated.

OpenAI

We’re launching a classifier trained to distinguish between AI-written and human-written text.

We’ve trained a classifier to distinguish between text written by a human and text written by AIs from a variety of providers. While it is impossible to reliably detect all AI-written text, we believe good classifiers

Apparently there are also a few services now that help you un-plagiarise your content from AI. So you can use AI to help you generate your blog article and then you can insert it into another AI to reward it so that it is not detectable by AI haha. This is a platform that offers that service of re-writing your AI generated scripts: https://quillbot.com/

QuillBot's AI-powered paraphrasing tool helps students and professionals rewrite, edit, and change the tone of their text to improve clarity and comprehension.

I think the more important thing here is that at least for SEO Google doesn't really care as long as it's written to work for humans.
