I've noticed my sim racing skill sort of plateau in the last few months. I have almost no experience driving in real life and started sim racing about a year ago now. and less than half that was spent on seriously trying to go faster around a track. I know with plenty of watching replays and repetition I'm bound to improve. But how long have you guys been doing this for? Especially those of you winning races.

Good work, @sturdy coral! You just became a level 8 driver!
I can be pretty skillfull in terms of quali pace usually race pace is where i lack, however ive been doing this for 4 years now but ive only really started doing it serious for like a year
I feel like I’m the inverse of Luca, my quali is crap but I gain time in race and my consistency/racecraft is pretty good for my pace. I’ve only done serious online racing since I’ve joined here.

aaah i'll deffo start going through these videos haha
gonna whip out the notebook 🤓
Also I would suggest not setting a precedent that you need to be at a certain level, this and comparison against other drivers can be detrimental to your motivation. Just do your best to improve and congratulate yourself when you do.
Try different disciplines, sticking to one thing, you might find yourself going in circles (literally) when it comes to learning, if you're struggling with circuit stuff, take a break and do some rally stuff, you may find some various things you never would've thought of using or doing
