i think all (or at least most) graphic changes are in csp settings
just deactivate extensions.
and maybe take out the sol filter
i turn off all of them except General Patch Setting
but it still not change
i turn off post poccesing and the game just like throw a flashbang at me
and when i turn on it look better but laggier obviously
then i think you just can't run csp with your current settings, are you on low in assetto corsa settings?
what are your pc specs?
csp also has extensions for making the game faster, but i don't think that would help too much
I5-82500
8GB Ram
CPU: Intel UHD Graphic 620
GPU: Geforce MX130 2GB Vram
Lmao i dont know why but now all my car have light issue:D it not show the road
intel uhd 620 or nvidia geforce mx130?
both
Like, at the same time, or either one or the other deppending on power?
It's weird for me that a dedicated gpu (even a low end laptop only one) can't run assetto corsa, but i don't think it's the cpu. How old is it?
(I could run assetto corsa with csp and sol in an amd ryzen 3 3200g and the integrated vega 8)
Mx only
so, assetto corsa runs well without csp?
With lowest setting and post off it can easily run at 110fps, but with csp which require post on it run in 70-50 and sometime down to 30
if it runs over 30fps, then what's the problem?
just set it to low (not lowest), and maybe activate some optimization options in csp
Like i prefer default setting than csp setting, cuz somtime im racing and the fps drop which make me fault react, and i dont like it
it's a laptop, i would personally take the game running as already something really good. there's not too much you can do to improve it (only a few options in csp)
if it stutters, maybe try making the os lighter (do you use windows 10 or 11?)
actually i find the way to turn off it by untick this
but now i got another problem
if it's running windows 11, upgrade to windows 10 (win11 sucks).
if it's running windows 10, deactivate all startup apps (from both settings and task manager), deactivate useless services (check the "hide all microsoft services" box), and uninstall useless programs and bloat (like, antiviruses, cleaner apps, microsoft edge, edge chromium, internet explorer, any bloat from the manufacturer; and remove bloat in general there's a power shell command for that)
csp is trash, I agree
the graphics are infinitely better without it, but all the other features are pretty much mandatory if you want to have a good experience with ac
but again, you can't disable the shitty light effects, which is the main reason it tanks fps so much
well that really suck
Good work, @high bobcat! You just became a level 1 driver!
I agree bro
uhd 620...
that's more than I had, and I used csp 1.60
that's when I had hd 520
later when I got HD 620, I ran latest csp
you have UHD 620, perhaps you could decrease the resolution and play in windowed like I did
a switch from 1080p to 1366x768 brought a crazy boost
a guy ran ac at 50 fps on intel hd 2000 and 2GB RAM. this laptopphobia needs to stop
Then the problem is the OS.
But laptops in general are still mostly shit, making them always thiner and thiner, with less ports and less cooling. I want a fat laptop with a socketed full desktop cpu (also laptops and prebuilds now come with windows 11, and that sucks)
