Can you share the payment intent ID (pi_xxx) that faced this problem?

It's myself buying as I am launching soon and this was a test purchase
But I am Australian with Australian card, and business is based in Argentina. So I put Argentina adress. And as it's an online course I'm sure many people will be buying with cards that DONT match their ZIP
And Stripe warned me "This is because of a rule you set up" So I'd like to know how to disable it!
From the message, it's the CVC check failed and not related to ZIP
You can view the information here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/pi_3LFo8LGYtMQ2smdL3DF5HvzN
Yeah but the payment processed, and everything was fine
And about 15min later it got refunded and said the CVC didn't match de ZIP because of a rule I set up..?
I would assume if I get the CVC wrong, it wouldn't even process the payment would it?
where did you see that CVC doesn't match the ZIP? I don't see this information on my side
So what you're saying is I entered the wrong CVC?
If that's the case I'll give it another go and see if I can see the error again
Or could a CVC fail be something else?
You can check the rule at dashboard > Payments > Fraud & Risk > Rules > "Block if CVC verification fails"
I will send message error now
Failed: You requested that Stripe block payments (like this one) for which the customer-entered CVC code does not match the code on file with the card-issuing bank.
Yeah sorry, wasn't directly related to ZIP, but something similar I assume as it's different homes address to card country
I think I did some google reasearch and read something about it being related to CVC and ZIP
So you think I should just disable this?
It's my first time using Stripe, So I'm not sure what optimal setting should be. But I will be selling worldwide
(Sorry it's in spanish)
The decision is up to you. CVC validation is one possible way to prevent fraud
But what does this error mean exactly? That the CVC was entered incorrectly? Or it could be something else?
Do you know?
This error means that the CVC you entered doesn't match the one that issuer expects
ok Thanks! I'll try again and make sure details are correct
