I started a webshop and my work now consists of solving wrong shipping addresses by email all day.

seems like the stripe checkout is configured in a way that google is confused and autofills the wrong information

i even immediately send an email to the customer to verify their address

still a ton of orders are wrong, every day

Perhaps paypal and everyone else has the same amount of issues with this

Well yea, the issue isnt that zip and address is switched, its simply an old address etc

so i guess the customers are just not looking

and they would encounter the same issue with every checkout

unfortunately yes, we can't control the browser's stored addresses

Haha yeah i know. I was just curious if there was any known issues, or if autofill could be disabled somehow. But i guess thats impossible

we could disable autofill but it would be more impactful and customers won't be happy
