Hi! Apple Pay should work with Stripe Terminal, as mentioned here: https://support.stripe.com/questions/stripe-terminal-support-for-apple-pay-google-pay-samsung-pay-or-contactless-cards
Can you share the request ID (req_xxx) if you have one? Here's how you can find it: https://support.stripe.com/questions/finding-the-id-for-an-api-request
we don’t support contactless Apple/Google Pay transactions in test mode on Terminal(only contactless payments from the physical Stripe test card are supported). It works fine in production
It is not in test mode.
We completed order with my apple card using contactless payment.
if this is happening in livemode instead(using your livemode Stripe API keys) then I'd suggest writing to our support team at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true with the complete context :
- the reader ID, model(looks like the M2 reader), and firmware version
- the version of our Android SDK you're using
- your complete code of the Activity that interacts with the SDK and calls collectPaymentMethod etc (in text form)
- an exact PaymentIntent ID
pi_xxxof one used in an activity that fails - enable verbose logging in the SDK (https://stripe.dev/stripe-terminal-android/core/core/com.stripe.stripeterminal/-terminal/-companion/index.html#1541288677%2FFunctions%2F-1814817128 with LogLevel=verbose) and then share the full logcat output (in text form) from a failed attempt
- details on the card being used
maybe there's an issue with Apple Cash specifically but we don't have any resources on that unfortunately! We'd need the information above to start investigating and asking the Terminal team
Can I send these info to this channel? It may benefit others who has the similar problem I guess.
please write into our support team instead, it will take a while to investigate and we can't do it over an anonymous Discord channel. We'd have to involve other teams which are in the US and not around right now anyway, so best to write in.
