First, the card reader frequently disconnected from our ordering machine.
it's an M2 reader
Second, discoverReaders function in the stripe-terminal-android SDK frequently got stuck and could not find any reader.
I'd suggest writing to our support team at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true with full details such as
- the ID/serial numbers of the readers where this happens
- the firmware version of the reader
- the exact code you are using in your Activitys in Android for using the SDK
- the contents of Logcat logs when this happens, with verbose logging enabled via LogLevel=VERBOSE (https://stripe.dev/stripe-terminal-android/core/core/com.stripe.stripeterminal/-terminal/-companion/index.html#1541288677%2FFunctions%2F-1814817128)
Have tried that before but haven't heard anything from your support team.
Currently extremely frustrated.
