Payment Links (and Checkout) default to 'automatic' payment methods configured there based on the locale of your customer

Hi. Yes, ideal is enabled

#

Doublechecked

Are you/your customer in a locale where iDEAL is supported? Netherlands only I believe

#

I set my chrome to Dutch, and I'm in The Netherlands. Not using a VPN but my normal residential isp linke

#

on safari I see the apple pay and card. But cant get the bancontact nor ideal to show up

#

I asked some other people, and they also only see apple/google pay and card. They all have their OS and phone set to dutch/The Netherlands

#

Any ideas on what I can do to enable it?

Can you share an ID of a Payment Intent or similar? I'll take a look at the account

#

Also, this is just a one-time payment right? Not recurring (subscription)?

tribal kelp
#

Yes, one time

Hmm, seems iDEAL isn't enabled for that Payment Link

#

Checking we actually support iDEAL on them – thought we did

tribal kelp
#

Ok. But I cannot configure payment methods for payment links in the dashboard

#

right?

soft orchid
#

My assumption was they inherited the settings from the link I shared earlier. Perhaps that isn't the case

#

Yeah, unfortunately the Payment Links are card only for the time being

tribal kelp
#

ah ok. That's unfortunate

You'd likely be better off using Checkout for more localised payment methods

tribal kelp
#

I'll have a look at checkout. Thanks

#

It's for a one time thing. Since we have the mobile contact information of all the ppl that will need to pay, we picked the payment link as we can easily send it to them. But will look into checkout then

#

Thanks

#

We are looking to support other payment methods with the Payment Links in the near future

tribal kelp
#

nice. One last question then. Do you know if it's possible to collect the users mobile number using checkout ?

#

In the payment links there's this option to enable it

#

IT's info we need to link the payment to the user in our own excel sheet

perfect. Thanks. Have a nice day

Np, you too!
