@bold idol hi! what is a 'reference' exactly? but generally if you want to remind the customer you should store the Source ID src_xxx somewhere, then you can retrieve it from the API and get the redirect[url] again to show to them.
a reference for Multibanco payment is a number, which along with the entity number and the cost allow the client to proceed the payment.
I don't know if the reference has a time limit.
@glossy bolt could you please let me know where I should store the source ID? are there some examples for that? Some webpage?
it's part of the Source object
under source.multibanco.reference, you can see it there after creating one or retrieving it from the API based on the Source ID as I mentioned!
like in your database. you said you want to resend information to the user, so probably you have a database or other system where you store information on the customer , you can store the Source ID there if you want
Ok thank you. Do you know if references have a time span where after that period they expire.
? @glossy bolt
it's 7 days after the time the Source is created
https://stripe.com/docs/sources/multibanco#sources-expiration Additionally, pending sources are canceled after seven days if they are not used to receive funds.
I have a cliente that payed and the amount got out of his account. But as the reference has expired the payment wasn't done. So he receive an e-mail telling to click on a refund link.
