My apologies, I just checked your account details and see the feature is already enabled. However, your account’s API version is still behind 2025-06-30.basil, which is required for this feature. You will have to upgrade the version to use the feature

After upgrading to the new version, can the API field be used to query in advance whether a dispute meets the Smart Disputes criteria?Since we use API to respond to evidence and rebut disputes, we want to be able to distinguish whether smart processing is met when we receive a dispute, so that our API can decide whether to submit evidence.

whether a dispute meets the Smart Disputes criteria?
From out docs, Stripe would be the one informing you whether it is elgigible for smart disputes, there is no need to check whether it meets the criteria or not
When you receive a Smart Disputes eligible dispute, Stripe notifies you by email and in the Dashboard. If you don’t take any action, Smart Disputes automatically submits the pre-filled evidence packet just before the dispute times out. This ensures you don’t miss any deadlines. If you don’t want to use Smart Disputes, you can respond to the dispute by countering manually, or accepting the dispute before the deadline. You can turn off auto-submit in your Dashboard settings.
Just to be clear Smart Disputes is a preview feature, so our team won't have expertise here. I suggest you to write in to support if you have specific questions on how it works and how to get it set up, they would be best positioned to answer your questions
