I updated CI and devcontainers to use v1.40.0, i imagine this is an error on your part?

yes you're right, we're missing some release targets in the latest Stripe CLI version
it's always better to reference a specific version than to reference "latest"

True, but we mostly do 1.x or similar to keep up with patches

you can also build your own version by git cloning the repo and using the makefile to do it. (not really recommended)

this way you're prone to errors of this kind, where no release has been created for linux for some reason
