I'm not sure that is possible without a South American platform account. Let me check something

When you say "it doesn't allow me to", what action are you attempting to do?

For Platforms in the US we have limited support for settlement currency and we only allow storing CAD, EUR, and GBP in addition to USD

Yeah I checked that one and as you said it only allows for USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP. So if I wanted my platform account to settle funds in PEN, I should create a new Stripe account based in Peru? But I think it isn't available in this country

Any workaround or should I just handle funds purely in USD

That would be if you are focusing on the buttons you are clicking but I focus on the URLs

This server is staffed specifically for stripe developers coding integrations with Stripe APIs and we don't really deal with the Dashboard so we tend to focus on the more concrete data we can put our hands on

I don't think so. We don't support Platform accounts in Peru and we only support multi-currency settlement for a few countries at the moment

In this case I picked Brazil to see if we allowed settling in PEN for a different South America country.

In this case you would likely need to domicile your Platform in the US and then use our Cross Border Payouts https://docs.stripe.com/connect/cross-border-payouts

This would limit what the Connected Accounts in Peru could do and would expose you to conversion fees for each transaction but it's the only way I can see how you could get started

You would want to reach out to Stripe Support https://support.stripe.com/contact for help setting this up

So the baseline is I collect in PEN, but it's converted to USD on my platform account (1st conversion), then I transfer funds to connected accounts in PEN (2nd conversion) and then a Payout to a external bank account in Peru

I can achieve that out of the shelf? Or do I need any special configuration/contact with support?

You should contact support. Cross border payouts can be tricky and it's important to make sure you are configured correctly.
