okay, I think, we only partially enabled this feature for your account. i.e. it can send to more emails, but I think we may have missed out on enabling another feature which allows you to configure more emails on the Customer when creating it via the API. Let me check in on this, and we'll get back to you on the support ticket.

I'm really sorry I can't resolve this for you directly. Since this is in private preview, I don't have full visibility to troubleshoot it myself. I'm going to need to bring in the product team to take a closer look at this for you.
