👋 A new billing cycle begins when you reset the billing_cycle_anchor so an invoice may be generated. Is your question about whether one was or wasn't generated in your specific instance?

Hm, that does look a bit odd, but I see you're using our new billing mode for that Subscription, and need to double check how it's expected to behave when changing the billing period with prorations disabled.

I can see that billing_mode.type is set to flexible for your Subscription, which is our new billing mode that became the default behavior with our clover releases.

Are you seeing this behavior for all of your Subscription updates?

Totally fair, it's still pretty new, and can kind of get forced on you 😅

Are you working on a new integration, or maintaining an existing one? That may help us know where we should focus also.

No i'm working on maintaining an existing one. Is it possible to migrate from classic to flexible on existing subscriptions?

Yup, that's possible, from either the dashboard or API.

Enable increased flexibility for subscriptions

Use flexible billing mode for enhanced functionality and to access additional features, such as mixed intervals on the same subscription.
