Hi there
Hi
So Link uses cookies here to enable faster checkout. If it is the same device then I don't really know why it would be a different customer?
That being said, if you want to disable it then you should be able to do that. If you can share an example PaymentIntent or SetupIntent then I can take a look at your integration and advise there.
Thank you! So on our admin side of the application, an admin member can add cards on behalf of the customers which is where we're noticing this behavior. And sure! Just drop screenshots here?
Also, I've tried to just "Block" it but when I i submit my changes, it changes to "Custom" and notice on the connected accounts Link is enabled.
The ID is all I need
Blocking it is likely the right path. Not sure I understand what you mean by "Custom" exactly.
But let's start with a PaymentIntent or SetupIntent ID
Sounds good. Trying to find one to share with you
Just to confirm the id starts with "seti_"?
Yep
Found one; here you go: seti_1RqgOXD5brjRWvFQaBnyvku1
Thanks, give me a min to look
Thanks!
Okay yeah so you want to go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/acct_1JzHPRD4gj7rV5tr/settings/payment_methods/connected_accounts/pmc_1RqjXUD4gj7rV5trELt6J6w6 and set Link to blocked -- you mentioned you tried to do that before?
I did. I just noticed that Link on the root account was turned off. I turned it back to on and then I was able to block it on the connected accounts one region on the time. Also want to note, this is on the test account.
Good news is that now I don't see the Link option on the payment form
Gotcha, well I'm not exactly sure what you were doing before, but setting it to blocked in the Connect Payment Method Settings for your platform is what you want to do!
Sweet, thank you for your assitance!
