Just looking at the API request, it looks like you updated that person to not be marked as a director. Is that intentional?

was there a previous person marked as the representative of the account? if so, did you unset their relationship, as in this guide https://support.stripe.com/questions/change-the-account-representative-for-connected-accounts-with-platform-gathered-verification-requirements
only if they are the legal director of the company. one moment while I look further into this
it looks to me like the person didn't pass identity verification. unfortunately we don't know very much about this process in this channel, I'd recommend reaching out to main support to see why verification failed https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

sorry, are you asking whether directors are required for your connected account? or how to remove someone as a director?
if you're asking whether specifying directors are required, that depends on your platform country, the connected account country, the type of business it is, and other factors. you can use this tool to determine what the requirements https://docs.stripe.com/connect/required-verification-information

yeah, I'm not seeing anything obviously wrong with that request, but like I said, we don't know much about the verification process in this channel. I'd recommend reaching out to Support, they'll be better able to help you figure out why you're seeing those errors in the dashboard
