Hi Soma. I hope you could help us.
an you share the request ID (req_xxx) that failed? you can find it here https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs
I need a specific request ID that failed with the error you mentioned.
this request succeeded with no errors.
can you clarify what exactly are you doing when you see the error
You do not have the capabilities required for payment method transfers.
We’ve integrated Stripe into our booking system via TidyCal using the Connect method.
When a user attempts to book an appointment and fills out the form, the following error appears before any payment is actually processed:
When a user attempts to book an appointment and fills out the form
but what does that means in Stripe terms? are you creating the connected account, updating the connected account, something else?
To clarify, this happens even before the user clicks submit or proceeds to payment. It seems the form is trying to validate our account’s payment capabilities in real-time, and it's being blocked due to missing transfer permissions.
We’ve also integrated PayPal into TidyCal as a comparison, and that works perfectly fine—no issues during the form process or payment step.
We already have the account
seems like an issue with TidyCal. have you tried contacting their support?
and support says the account needs to be re-onboarded
And the account re-onboarding is being coordinated with another team member.
However, we’d like to emphasise that we need this integration enabled as soon as possible, as we are planning to collect Stripe payments from participants of an upcoming contest scheduled for August 24th.
It's not since paypal integration was all good, and Tidycal confirmed it's not on their end
Stripe has been successfully integrated into our system (TidyCal) — the connection itself is working.
However, when a customer tries to make a booking, the payment step doesn't appear at all. It stops before reaching the actual payment screen.
We asked for help, and were advised that the issue might be on Stripe's side. When we logged into our Stripe Dashboard, we saw a notice stating that payments are currently not being accepted on our account.
Can you please help us resolve this as soon as possible?
Soma?
