I checked the Payments balance section and I see fees charged by Stripe. But this is not really useful for the feature I'm working on because it seems to be general and not tied to a specific transaction

Ok cool, thanks. This is specific to the pricing model your organization has with Stripe. I don't believe there's a way to associated the fees with transactions in this case, but Support would likely have a better answer for you: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

...That said, you could check in with someone in your accounting org and see what they recommend in terms of spreading those fees out amongst the relevant charges, and then do that. That's what I'd do.
