i use express checkout elements
Hi there
That is your own email input, correct?
And you are saying you only want to allow checkout with wallets via Express Checkout Element if that is completed?
yes
yes
email required first, and then buttons should work
Gotcha, in that case you would want to wait to mount the buttons until the email is input.
Hmm actually, you could also use the confirm Event to check the status of the input
And throw an error instead of calling elements.submit() if the input isn't filled.
I believe that should work as well.
thank you! if there other options?
No other option that I can think of, no.
It is this step in the flow: https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element/accept-a-payment?client=html#submit-the-payment
When the expressCheckoutElement.on('confirm',.... Event fires then in that handler you would check your input.
if email not filled and i click gpay button, gpay ui will not appear right?
in other word, buttons will not work if email not filled
Correct -- you would throw an error in place of calling elements.submit() which is what triggers the GPay modal to appear.
Thanks man
