hello! A few additional questions here :

  • who do you expect to show up on the customer's credit card statement, the platform (you) or the connected account?
  • Who do you expect to collect KYC information from the connected account? platform (you) or Stripe?

The transfer would be done seperately too using "Create separate charges and transfers", it's not linked to the customer's payment straight away, as they can change who they choose to support before a certain time.

for your use case, a CA platform, and non-CA connected accounts, you can't create a cross-border Transfer

it would work if you only supported CA connected accounts as a CA platform

Ah I see, that's unfortunate. With a Canada Stripe account, can you even onboard US connected accounts?

you could, but you wouldn't be able to transfer funds to US connected accounts
