If the products/prices exist on the Connected Account, you need to make your API requests with the Stripe Account header as we describe here

I'm following the documentation but sometimes I get lost between then Connect documentation and regular products, not sure if they behave the same way

Products do not have an intent.

Product API requests will behave the same as they normally do, you just need to make the request with the Connect Account header

Ok, I might need to rethink what I want to do.. Thanks for the help Snufkin. I'll move my question to another channel since it's more concept related. Now I want to knw the best approach to do what I want

which is a platform that provides authors to create their subscription plans and then the platform collect intent from that transaction

Since your business model is subscription based, you'd might want to condier this: https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/overview. Otherwise, your understanding is correct in terms of using Connect
