Hi there
Hey!
Can you share more context about the funds flow you're trying to achieve?
So my thought process for the funds flow was:
User A wants to send money to User B.
User A opens our "app", and enables teh tap-to-pay feature
User B, enters some amount, taps their phone, and in high level, the money would go into User A's bank account
What I thought how we would do this is that, User B, sends money to our Business Stripe account, once recieved, we do a payout to User A for that same amount. (Ignoring all the fees and such for now). Not sure if this is even possible/legal. And ideally, we would want as minimum of signup process as possible.
I think you flipped the users above
User A, enters some amount, taps their phone, and in high level, the money would go into User Bs bank account, right?
You could do this with connect but it won't quite work the way you're envisioning. User A and User B would have to "onboard" onto Stripe, essentially providing information about their business before they can receive any funds via Stripe/your platform
You, as the platform, would have to charge user A and then transfer those funds to user B
Yes sorry, that is right
But I believe there are like standard accounts, where you can leave most of the business info blank. Let me see if I can find where I saw that
Not exactly. Standard accounts would still have to onboard on Stripe and provide business details before they can activate their account
