So my question is
- can I turn off these emails for free plan/product subscribers only
or - can I customize the content in email
Our users are little bit confused and they're sending inquiries to support email that they active subscription and they're afraid that they'll pay something ... ๐ฆ

Yes that's expected. because you using a 0 Price
If you want to provide your services for free without an invoice, you can use trials in that case
I know that creating free product and subscribing to it when new customer creates an account is probably a mistake, but our app is currently developed like that and I don't have a lot of development hours to refactor all that now ๐ฆ
Yeah we're using also free trial for monthly plan and after it user is subscribed again to free product with price 0
