To give you a bit of insight into what I'm checking, I'm looking to see if it seems any of these restrictions for stacked coupons/promo codes were violated by the request:

I was thinking that maybe this customer has an attached coupon but I couldn't find anything in the dashboard. Do you think that may be the case?

I do suspect there is another discount somewhere causing the conflict, but I'm not sure if it will be on the Customer object or somewhere on the Subscription.

Are they hitting this repeatedly? I saw the Subscription Schedule being used has already been released
Yes they tried this multiple times
We release the schedule when there's an error
so because of this InvalidRequestError we released the schedule
I was thinking I could add them credit for the amount of the discount and have them switch wo the discount
I think this makes sense for a workaround

Yes this is the only customer so far but we lauched this promotion yesterday so perphaps we will get more
Yeah we looked into this a bit but couldn't find a conflicting discount/coupon
So I do recommend you write in with the above link my colleague shared
