@fallen haven it looks like you don't have Amazon Pay turned on for your Billing payment method configuration: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods?config_id=pmc_1LUouVCScnf89tZoJs3pKhvl
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
i've enabled it in th PMC supported for Leadconnector config
That is the one being used right?
Because this account is being used as a connected account with GHL platform account
So the PMC being used should be the id from GHL platform account.
Which is available under leadconnector PMC config
This is the PMC being used I think
Hi, stepping in and catching up
Sure
The payment method configuration from one time payment vs. subscriptions is different. The Connected Account would need to enable the payment method for their Billing payments.
How do we do that?
Doesn't enabling it in the PMC ensures it's enabled for one time as well as subscription payments?
No, on your own account on that screenshot you see 'Billing Payments' right?
On the Connected Account, you would go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/settings/billing/invoice > enable Amazon Pay.
You mean on the platform account?
No, since you're using the Stripe Account Header, you would need to update the settings on the Connected Account.
So our customers connect to our platform account to collect payment in their stripe accounts. Is it possible to enable it for recurring payments for all connected accounts as well, direclty from our platform account? It would be very tedious for customers to enable it manually everywhere, and it would cause loss of revenue for us.
Yeah, we're aware of this and the product owning team is working on supporting this. In the meantime, you would need to specify the payment method types for the subscription
What do you mean specify the payment method types?
If i turn it on in billing info as you mentioned, it started showing up!
But would we need this to be done by every customer that has connected account with us?
Once we launch this live.
Yes, so that is what I was talking about when I said we're working on supporting that. Currently, you would ask your Connected Accounts to enable it. Or, you can pass the payment method type when you create the subscription, https://docs.stripe.com/api/subscriptions/create#create_subscription-payment_settings-payment_method_types
But passing PaymentMethodTypes is broken. We've explored that route before, we cannot pass paymentMethodtype and payemtnMethodConfig both at the same time!
This is really tedious. Our customers, most of them will not enable it. We have more than 200k+ connected accounts. This would result in us releasing this but not working for most of the customers.
There should be a simpler way to achieve this
Also why this doesn't happen for other payment methods, cards, Ideal, BanContact etc are directly controlled and available via PMC's. only
Can you confirm why passing payment method types explicitly would not work? That overrides the billing settings so that is the only alternative you have in case your connected accounts won't enable it. It should work the same
You're using Standard Connect flow, https://docs.stripe.com/connect/standard-accounts which they have more control over their account
Then for each payment we'll need to know what all payment method types should be supported. We manage multiple PMC's and that would cause issues to maintain the config on our end as well.
I agree that is not ideal, and our team is working on supporting you to control this with the Connect Direct charge flow.
I'm also facing issues where suddenly a lot of customers are seeing CashAppPay as a payment option, when it's blocked in all of the PMC's on our Platform account
I've contacted stripe support but haven't gotten any satisfactory response
Are you able to share the specific request id where you see this behavior?
Here's the sessions call response we are getting
Can you share the specific request id instead so I can further investigate this? You mentioned that it's on your Platform account, what is the pmc_ used?
sure, i'm finding a way to reproduce this
Let me share the request id quickly
I'm going to step away but my teammate will be able to further assist here.
You can check this request id

This PMC seems to be used: pmc_1QAoSKP7pZnqgdlmm2uyDr0m
It's around 4am local time, so i"m going to sleep. Can you please keep this chat open so that I can resopnd to and get this issue resolved. Thank you
I will have to close it, unfortunately. This seems like a more complex issue, so you would mind creating a support issue instead?
