Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ taking a look

lapis warren
#

card elements and others are working fine

#

But apple pay is not showing

coarse bluff
#

It's rendering for me, so I suspect the problem is that you don't already have a card in your Apple Pay wallet.

Please add a card to your wallet if you don't, and try to step through your flow again.

lapis warren
#

Can you give me ss please?

#

Screen shoot that apple pay is showing , so I can show that to my client , It will be really helpfull

coarse bluff
#

Oh, are you testing from India?

#

Stripe doesn't show Google or Apple Pay as payment options if we detect an India-based IP address is being used.

lapis warren
#

Thanks a lot it will save my life , I am testing from bangladesh

#

My client is testing from his iphone from United States

#

But he cannot see apple pay on that site

coarse bluff
#

Do they have a card in their Apple Pay wallet?

#

Stripe checks whether there is already a card in the wallet, for Payment Request Button and Payment Element integrations, and only shows Apple or Google Pay if we detect there is already a card in the wallet:
https://docs.stripe.com/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button#:~:text=Add a payment method to your browser. For example%2C you can save a card in Chrome%2C add a card to your Google Pay account%2C or add a card to your Wallet for Safari

Collect payment and address information from customers who use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link.

lapis warren
#

Yes they said

#

They have card already in wallet

coarse bluff
#

Are they using Safari?

I'm able to see it so the problem isn't with the integration, but there is some sort of limiting factor on the device they're using.

#

They'll want to make sure they're using a support device and browser, have a card in their wallet, make sure that card is in the wallet for the same Apple ID they're using on their phone.

lapis warren
#

Yes he is using safari

#

On his Iphone

#

Are you using MAC?

coarse bluff
#

Yes, but that shouldn't matter

lapis warren
#

So there is some problem with his device right?

coarse bluff
lapis warren
#

You can try with your Iphone please if you have time

lapis warren
#

My client can see black apple pay button from that link

coarse bluff
#

Yup. If they see Apple Pay shown on our docs page, their device is set up as we're expecting and they should be able to see Apple Pay on the page you built.

If they don't see Apple Pay on our docs page, something is incorrect about how their device is setup, or the device itself may not be supported.

lapis warren
#

He also shared the main site link to some friends but not showing apple pay yet

#

I don't know why they cannot see on site , But on your test link they can see the black apple pay button

coarse bluff
#

Have you begun collecting replication steps from them to confirm how they're stepping through the flow to get to the checkout process?

lapis warren
#

Yes, the issue is that while you can see the Apple Pay button, the users cannot. However, when they access your test link, they are able to see the demo Apple Pay button. This inconsistency is quite confusing. As a developer, I believe that if it is showing for you, it should also appear for the users.

#

I don't know what to tell client now.

#

We have updated some code , Because there was two apple pay button

#

Are you there?

coarse bluff
#

Sorry I'm juggling a lot of threads right now, so testing your site for you is going to take me some time to get to.

#

I still see the button fine.

#

Err, I still see Apple Pay just fine

lapis warren
#

Thanks a lot man

#

I will tell this to my client

#

Thank you for your help; it is greatly appreciated.

coarse bluff
#

Any time!
