Hello @regal marsh
Can you please provide me the docs describing the Google Pay requires Chrome and a Google account, Apple Pay requires Safari on a Mac/iPhone and an Apple account?
Can you please check this link: https://webapp.revivesharing.com/station-detail. If there is an Apple payment Method visible in Payment Methods? Please.
yes it is
how are you testing it, could you please share like country and device?
Stripe Elements doesn't support Google Pay or Apple Pay for Stripe accounts and customers in India.
yes, I know. but how can I explain you...
that If it's fine if I test it via VPN?
umm, I have tried to test the above public link of my website via VPN with the location Netherlands but it's working with Chrome in Android device but not in safari of iPhone with iOS version 16.17.1
I don't think VPN will help show Apple Pay if you're based in India, unfortunately.
Do you have the Apple Pay wallet set up correctly?
Do you see the Apple Pay button on this page? https://docs.stripe.com/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button
As Google Pay requires Chrome and a Google account, Apple Pay requires Safari on a Mac/iPhone and an Apple account, and according to this docs https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element#supported-browsers, the Google Pay and Apple Pay Payment Methods should be visible on safari of iPhone.
okay
Showing me the Pay with link button
in chrome at india location
and in Chrome of Android devices, the GPay Payment Button is Visible:
What about Apple Pay?
Could not see Apple Pay Button on any where
Okay, this goes inline with what you see on your website.
Do you have the Apple Pay wallet set up correctly?
Do you have a real card added to the Apple Pay wallet?
No
Okaiie, I understood now
You need to add one to see Apple Pay button.
All requirements are here: https://docs.stripe.com/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button?client=react#prerequisites
sure, I'll see. Thank you for providing the details.
I could not understand this.
Which part specifically? You said you don't have a card in your Apple Pay wallet, right?
yes
Okay , got it
I have to add card to Apple Wallet to display the Apple Button, right?
Yes
No our test cards don't work in the Apple Pay wallet
okay๐
So How can I test the Apple Pay Option visibility in the Payment Element, other than these ways?
There's nothing to test really โ it'll just work assuming you've set things up correctly. I can try and visit your link if you have one to share, or share it with a colleague/friend who does have an Apple Pay card
Yes. I have one. here is the link: https://webapp.revivesharing.com/station-detail
Can you please only check if there is an Apple Pay option visible in payment methods? That's it.
It would be greatly appreciated.
heyy @slow plaza
yes, I have disabled it manually by default.
